Fast And Furious: Tyrese Gibson On His Ongoing Spat With Dwayne Johnson: 'It's All Over The Internet, Have Fun'
Fast And Furious star Tyrese Gibson recently spoke about his ongoing feud with Dwayne Johnson and gave quite a straightforward answer to those who have a query!
More drama in the seemingly infallible in #FastFam, it seems. The ongoing feud between Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson has been there for decades now. It all started when they were filming for one particular scene that left Gibson a bit disappointed. It was said Dwayne may be improvising in a scene but it seemed Tyrese was really hurt in the filmed moment. Years later, when Hobbs And Shaw was announced, Gibson repeatedly showed his disappointment as it was delaying Fast And Furious 9.
He even slammed Dwayne for his spin-off, Hobbs And Shaw’s low box-office collection where he took to his social media handle and shared a now-deleted post where he commented, “Breaking up the family clearly doesn’t have the value that one would assume it does.” To which Dwayne subtly responded to his tweets by saying “The best way to shut the mouth of a clown is to flex with success and a smile” on his Twitter.
However, recently, Gibson addressed his feud with The Rock and clearly said, “If you want to know how I feel about that man, it’s all over the internet. Have fun!” he said during the promotion of his new film Black and Blue.
Meanwhile, the cast and crew are now gearing up for the 9th instalment of the franchise. Fast And Furious 9 stars Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges as Tej Parker, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Helen Mirren as Magdalene Shaw, Charlize Theron as Cipher and Michael Rooker as Buddy. The film is expected to hit the big screens in 2020.
